iBreaks Radio: The end of an era.
Good morning all.
We were delivered the unfortunate news yesterday, that iBreaks will no longer be pursuing the radio aspect of the business.
The label is quite clearly the money spinner of the company, and, given its recent successes, and the quality of the releases (particularly in the last eighteen months), sufficient time cannot be dedicated to the radio stream any longer.
Furthermore, iBreaks manager and label owner, JMekka, is moving back to his native Spain.
We, at The M Shift, have been involved with iBreaks for three and a half years – so, as you can imagine, we’re very sad to hear this news.
We will be broadcasting our final show on iBreaks this evening, from 9 PM AEST – which is midday GMT. We’ll be joined by special guests, The Audiophilez, for one last hurrah on the iBreaks airwaves. You can tune in via iBreaks.co.uk.
Rest assured, our show will go on in some way, shape of form. We are currently on the search for a new home – and with any luck, this search won’t be an overly long or painful process.
A big thanks to JMekka, Flyte and the iBreaks family – for letting us do our thing, week after week. It’s been a fantastic time for us, and it’s unfortunate that it has to come to and end – as all good things do!
To our listeners, thank you all for listening live, downloading our archives, or subscribing to our Podcast over the past few years.
We hope to make a return, bigger and better than ever!
Peace out!
Brendan [Bruno] Clay
